The LM3D Swim is the First 3D-Printed Car Aimed for Mass Production


Local Motors has officially unveiled LM3D Swim, the world's first 3D-printed car set for mass production. This all-electric vehicle will eventually contain 90-percent 3D-printed parts as the technology continues to develop - currently 75%. "In the past few months our engineers have moved from only a rendering to the car you see in front of you today," said Local Motors CEO Jay Rogers at the SEMA show in Las Vegas.
